Cinema Jazireh, directed by Gözde Kural and produced by our FabriKHAS Advisory Board member Bulut Reyhanoğlu, premiered at the Adana International Altın Koza Film Festival. The film is also a finalist in the National Feature Film Competition. Cinema Jazireh tells the story of Leyla, a woman who disguises herself as a man and embarks on a perilous journey to find her missing son in Afghanistan, under the oppression of the Taliban.
